It's been a busy few weeks around here! I'm catching up on some blogging and am excited to share Charlotte's half-year photos. The six-month mark is a great milestone to capture for babies, but I often recommend waiting closer to 7 months to ensure baby is sitting up on their own. That's exactly what we did for Little Miss Char, and she was sitting up like a champ for her session.
A few months ago, I had the opportunity to capture her 3-month-photos. Charlotte's mom, Julie, booked a four session package with me, so I get to document this little angel throughout her first year. I just love having the opportunity to be a part of a baby's first year...getting to witness all the different milestones and capturing their little personalities as they grow.
Charlotte was a bit on the serious side, but we were able to coax a few smiles out of her. I think she was just sooooo interested in her surroundings. There were leaves and sticks and shoelaces to play with, after all. One thing's for sure, whether she was smiling or serious, this girl is absolutely adorable.
I just love this expression!
Please note the super cool vintage barrette.
This is the "are we done yet" face.
Taking a break with Sophie.
We found this nice little patch of ground cover with beautiful light spilling in. We weren't sure how she'd react, but I think this was her favorite part of the shoot.
Thanks once again Marc, Julie and Charlotte for a great shoot. Looking forward to the next one!! xo~denise
